We are women who just wanted a dependable, like-minded group of friends to travel and share experiences with. We are also driven by a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact on communities we visit around the world.
Connected through the belief that responsible travel can be a catalyst for change, we have set out on a mission to bridge the gap between adventure and altruism. Our trips are for those who love exploring new destinations, experiencing different cultures, and learning about challenges that differ from our own.
Expedition: Humanitarian is not a travel agency. We curate and go on the trips we offer, which are not designed to make anyone a profit. We are not “selling” you a vacation. We are offering you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with other amazing women and share experiences that generate positive change in all of us.

Founder
“Hi, I'm Jodi! I've prioritized travel my entire adult life because I think it opens minds, changes hearts, and makes us better human beings overall. Plus, I truly believe that memories are really what matters. In recent years, when abroad, I have made a point to connect with local charities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) because that is where you really get to know a place and its people.
I launched Expedition: Humanitarian in the fall of 2022 after returning from a life-changing trip to Egypt, where I spent time with a local Bedouin tribe. I decided that my give-back to the world would be to lead women on these affirmational retreats focused on partnering with nonprofits, deep cultural connections, adventure, building friendships, and experiencing the world together. These are small, intimate, and carefully crafted trips that only happen twice a year, and I can't wait to experience the world with you!”

Organizational Overhead
Supports the nonprofit's administrative functions, legal compliance, website, and communication; the foundation that keeps Expedition: Humanitarian running.
